Teaching Design of Ideological and Political Curriculum of English Writing for English Majors
As a comprehensive course,English writing plays an important part in promoting ideological and political curriculum construction for English majors.How to dig out the ideological and political elements and integrate them into teaching effectively is an urgent problem for teachers to solve.In view of the current difficulties in ideological and political curriculum in English writing,this paper discusses the teaching design from three aspects:teaching objectives,teaching content and teaching practice.According to the knowledge,ability and moral objectives,it is designed to integrate the teaching contents with knowledge,humanity and timeliness and penetrate ideological and political education into every link in the teaching sections of narration,description,exposition and argumentation through the methods such as sample essay analysis and discussion,comparison between Chinese culture and western culture and assignment arrangement,so as to achieve the goal of"whole process"moral education by teaching.
