The Inheritance of Traditional Culture in College English Education
With the development of globalization and the deepening of international exchanges,the importance of inheriting traditional culture in English education in universities is becoming increasingly prominent.At present,there are certain limitations in the inheritance of traditional culture in English education in universities,mainly manifested in the curriculum content focusing on western culture,insufficient introduction and integration of domestic culture.This bias may result in students'insufficient knowledge and understanding of their own cultural heritage.Therefore,college English education needs to pay more attention to the inheritance and integration of traditional culture,provide rich cultural materials for college English education,continuously enhance students'local cultural identity,enable students to spread traditional culture in cross-cultural communication,and form a good international perspective and critical thinking.
