The Reform of Public English Curriculum under the Background of New Liberal Arts in Higher Vocational Colleges
The public English curriculum in higher vocational colleges undertakes the important mission of helping the country to cultivate professionals who know foreign languages.It is a critical chance and challenge of reform for each subject,especially for English curriculum.But in nowadays,the reform of the public English curriculum is still lagging behind.It cannot meet the requirements of training high-quality composite professionals in the new era.The research of the reform of public English curriculum shows that the problems in this area are mainly in the aspects of the teacher's teaching concept,teaching content,teaching material resources,teaching process and teacher's cultivation.It gives some suggestions to help to solve these problems.
