Configuration Design Method of Low-orbit Walker Constellation Observation
Microsatellite constellations have great potential in remote sensing,communication,navigation and deep space exploration,and are of great significance to regional economic development,environmental protection supervision and emergency warning.Based on the low-orbit Walker constellation,this paper analyzes the traditional constellation configuration and satellite orbit perturbation,and obtains the ground coverage area of a single satellite.The covering band theory is used to establish the constellation configuration design model,analyze the regional coverage capability of satellite constellation,and realize the optimization of constellation configuration parameters.Taking the design of the observation constellation configuration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as an example,the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed design method was verified by comparing the theoretical analysis with the simulation analysis results of STK software,and the optimal parameters of observation satellite constellation configuration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region were obtained.
