Finite Element Simulation Analysis of 7075 Aluminum Alloy Grain Size Cutting
In cutting process,the material is rapidly cooled to room temperature after experiencing the violent impact of transient mechanical load and thermal load,which leads to the change of physical and mechanical properties of the surface material of the workpiece,and seriously affects its service performance.In this paper,DEFORM simulation software is used to realize the prediction of 7075 aluminum alloy grain size evolution process,reveal the influence mechanism of stress,strain and temperature on grain size,consider the results of cutting speed on microstructure,build a prediction model of grain size evolution under the influence of transient high load,and carry out experimental verification.The results show that the simulation and experimental results are consistent,with the maximum error of 2.4%.
