冯叔鸾是中国话剧发生期一位既懂旧剧又对新剧颇有研究的人,准确地说,他是个全才.除了编剧、演剧、评剧,还是著名报人,并从事翻译,擅长写小说.长期以来,他一直被忽略.冯叔鸾作为中国早期著名的戏剧理论家,学界一般认为"脚本"是其戏剧理论的核心概念.但通读其著作,"戏情"才是其戏剧美学的关键词.

Feng Shuluan was a person who knew both the old and the new dramas during the period of the emergence of Chinese drama;to be precise,he was an all-rounder.To be precise,he was an all-rounder.In addition to writing,acting and reviewing plays,he is also a renowned journalist and translator,and specializes in writing novels.For historical reasons,he has been a neglected author for a-long time.As a famous drama theorist in early China,academics generally believe that"script"is the core concept of his drama theory.However,reading through his works,"plot"is the key word of his dramatic aesthetics.
