The Evaluation of Special Columns of Social Science Academic Journals in Colleges——A Citation Analysis Perspective of the"Economics and Management"Column
Column evaluation has been neglected by academics as an important element in the development of journals.In order to ex-plore the contingent method of column evaluation,we collected the citation data of 15 college social science journals from the perspec-tive of'Economy and Management'column of college social science journals,empirically analysed the impact factor of the columns,the proportion of cited papers and the average citation frequency using the citation evaluation method,and came up with the impacts of the columns'setups and influences on the development of the journals,and put forward corresponding suggestions for the development of the journals.The impact of column setting and influence on the development of journals was found,and corresponding suggestions for the development of journal columns were put forward.
