Experimental study of microbial mineralization to strengthen sand
In recent years, microbial induced calcium carbonate deposition(MICP)technology,as a new green reinforcement method, has been widely studied, while the traditional MICP curing method grouting pipe method has the problems of easy blockage of the nozzle and uneven distribution BNCC337394 of solidification strength.Through the analysis of the CaCO3 content distribution, unconfined compressive strength, and uniformity of the solidified samples, the effect of using the new geomold to strengthen the sand was comprehensively evaluated. The results show that the new flexible geomold has a good effect on curing the sand, and the unconfined compressive strength of the cured specimen can reach 3.07MPa,and the uniformity of the cured specimen is good.
