Research on the External Space Characteristics of Landscape Architecture Based on Topological Structure Analysis
This paper employs the method of topological structure analysis along with data analysis u-sing Depthmap software to explore the characteristics of external spaces in landscape architecture and design optimization strategies.By applying topological relationships, architectural spaces are transformed into topological nodes.Taking the Shenzhen Liuxian Dong Vanke Cloud Design Com-munity as a case study, topological diagrams are established to depict the relationships between external, internal, and transit spaces within the landscape architecture. This study delves into the configuration features, isomorphic traits, and patterns of association between external spaces and other spatial elements, revealing the configuration features of topological relationships in the ex-ternal spaces of landscape architecture.Based on the foundation of topological structure and nu-merical analysis through software, this study summarizes the characteristics and design optimiza-tion strategies of three types of external spaces-above ground, ground level, and sunken spaces-in landscape architecture, providing theoretical underpinning for the design of external spaces in landscape architecture.
