The hydraulic balance problem of excessive heat at the near-end users and insufficient heat at the far-end users often accompanies centralized heating secondary network systems.In order to address the balance regulation of the secondary pipe network and meet the heating demands of us-ers,a control strategy based on the return water temperature method is proposed.A cascade con-trol system using internal model control algorithm is designed,with the return water temperature at the inlet of each unit as the main loop parameter and the pressure difference between supply and return water pipes as the secondary loop parameter.This ensures the consistency of the return wa-ter temperature among different units.Based on actual engineering of hydraulic balance regulation in the secondary network,a PLC controller is employed for automatic adjustment of the balance regulation control system,achieving uniform temperature adjustment among heat users and reduc-ing the problem of large temperature differences between households,thus achieving hydraulic balance.This system provides a theoretical basis or reference for the study of intelligent balance regulation systems in urban secondary networks while ensuring heating quality.
