Analysis of the Mechanical Properties of a Pure Bending Energy-dissipation Damper and Optimize Design
In this paper,a new pure bending energy dissipation damper is proposed.Through theoretical calculation gives the height of energy consuming steel plate and limit displacement plate,the ener-gy consuming steel plate triangular hole design,through the theoretical calculation gives the single load size energy consuming steel plate will not produce shear yield maximum opening rate,through numerical simulation of the energy consumption coefficient of the maximum hole height and hole bottom side length.The geometric parameters affecting the energy consumption of steel plate were analyzed using finite element software.The results show that the thickness of energy consuming steel plate and the height of limited displacement steel plate affect the energy consump-tion coefficient of damper greatly,and the width and quantity of energy consuming steel plate are small.Finally,a strong damper size is given by orthogonal test.
