Study on the Impact of Project Participant's Trust on Project Performance under PPP Model
Based on the transaction cost theory, the relationship between trust between government and social capital and PPP project performance was modeled by considering the mediating effect of co-operation and the moderating effect of environmental uncertainty.Based on the regression analysis of 121 valid questionnaires, the results show that competence, institutional and integrity trust can positively influence PPP project performance, cooperation plays a partial mediating role in the rela-tionship between trust and performance in all three dimensions, and environmental uncertainty can enhance the influence of competence trust and integrity trust on PPP performance.Finally,man-agement suggestions for improving PPP project performance are proposed in terms of establishing a good communication platform and actively demonstrating the ability to work. This paper clarifies the mechanism of multidimensional trust on performance, and the introduced mediating and mod-erating variables can enhance the explanatory and applicability of the model, which is conducive to guiding both public and private parties to strengthen relationship governance and promote the per-formance of PPP projects.
