Study on the Development of Port Economy in Inland Cities for the Enhancement of Two-Way Openness:A Case Study of Shijiazhuang City
Port plays a critical role for the development of open economy in inland cities.In recent years,Shijiazhuang City has seen a strong increase in foreign trade,a growing port function,reform and innovation capacity,and a positive trend in investment promotion.However,the city's port economy development is still hindered by an inadequate ability for management system synergy,a lack of strategic coordination,a relatively small port function,a shortage of interaction between the port and the hinterland,and an insufficient upgrading for the business environment.For the countermeasures,this paper proposes to establish key working groups to promote the institutional reform,strengthen the functions of the port,creatively implement the service enterprise commissioner system,construct a strong professional investment team based on project-centered concept,build a strong talent support system and so on.
