High-quality development of the manufacturing industry is of paramount importance to the high-quality development of China's economy.It is also essential to the formation of a modern economic system.To analyze the location choice of China's manufacturing OFDI,the indicators of host country factors and home country manufacturing high-quality development level were chosen.The productivity of the enterprise was selected for heterogeneity analysis.The research results indicate that when the level of high-quality development in the manufacturing industry is low,the location choice of China's manufacturing OFDI tends to favor the host countries with better economic and technological conditions.Higher-productivity manufacturing enterprises'OFDI location choices tend to be the countries with better economic conditions,while lower productivity manufacturing enterprises tend to be the countries with better technological conditions.Therefore,in order to promote the high-quality development of China's manufacturing industry,China's manufacturing enterprises should choose OFDI location carefully,taking account into the host country's factors,the home country's high-quality manufacturing development level and productivity of the enterprise.
