摘要
借鉴Geis和Thompson对转述动词的分类方法,提出了一个新的分类框架.通过语料库语言学的分析方法,对《环球时报》脱贫攻坚转述性消息报道中转述动词的使用情况进行了分析.从各类转述动词的频数、分布以及所处语境来看,转述动词的选择反映了新闻报道中隐藏的国家立场和形象.中性转述动词一般不体现报道者的态度.相反,积极转述动词和消极转述动词会体现报道者对话语来源和转述话语的态度,使得转述动词的选择揭示了报道者的立场和其所在国家的形象.
Abstract
A new classification framework is proposed with Geis's and Thompson's classification of reporting verbs.The usage of reporting verbs in Global Times'news reports on poverty alleviation is studied with corpus linguistics a-nalysis.The frequency,distribution and context of reporting verbs reflect the hidden national position and image in news reports.Neutral reporting verbs generally do not reflect reporter's attitude.By contrast,positive reporting verbs and negative ones can reflect reporter's attitude towards the source of discourse and the reported speech,revealing re-porter's standpoint and image of his or her country.
