Transformation and Formalization of Daily Management of Scholars in the Late Qing Dynasty——Taking Zhang Jian's Social Activities during His Scholar Stage as an Example
The Qing government published a series of regulations in various schools to manage the daily behavior of scholars,especially prohibiting them from being involved in litigation or local government affairs.However,during the late Qing Dynasty,new problems brought about by the new situation made these regulations useless.Zhang Jian,the champion of the late Qing Dynasty,actively participated in local government affairs during his scholar years and was not affected by the regulations,so did Zhang Jian's counterparts,indicating that the scholar management system of the Qing government had practically disappeared.
