The construction"×Hai(还)"in Shuocheng dialect is rooted in people's daily spoken conversations.A-mong them,the component to be embedded"×"can be a nominal component or a predicate component.When speaker A raises a topic,speaker B uses the"× Hai(还)"sentence to express his contempt,dissatisfaction,and helplessness toward the object mentioned by speaker A.This unique linguistic phenomenon embodies the grammatical concept of interactive construction and conforms to the"politeness principle"and"appropriateness criterion"of prag-matics.In daily communication,the construction"×Hai(还)"has four discourse functions:conveying subjective feelings,conveying negative emotions,conveying attitudes(mostly negative)and strengthening functions.The Shuocheng District dialect construction"×Hai(还)"is generated through the interaction of multiple interfaces.The generation process includes three steps:building a background schema,building a foreground schema,and building a stage schema.
