The comprehensive evaluation index,the degree of coupling coordination and the obstacles affecting the coordinated development of digital rural construction and high-quality agricultural development in 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government)in China from 2018 to 2022 were empirically analyzed.The results showed that the overall level of digital rural construction and high-quality agricultural development was on the rise,and the former had been better than the latter since 2021.The coordination of digital rural construction and high-quality agricultural development was remarkable in 2022 although they were not in coupling coordination because of the level of rural digital transactions,rural digital bases,water resources,and scientific and technological expenditures.Countermeasures were proposed to promote digital rural construction with rural digital bases and high level of digital transactions,to achieve high-quality agricultural development with water resources and scientific and technological expenditures,and to promote the coordinated development of digital rural construction and high-quality agricultural development with the spatial linkage effect of cross-regional mutual assistance and support.
