Based on discourse analysis and communication studies,English versions of Chinese diplomatic terms in Chinese official documents and Western mainstream media are studied to analyze the influence of mainstream ideology on different English versions,and reveal the interactive relationship and development between diplomatic translation and its dissemination.Flexible dissemination strategy,multi-form dissemination strategy,multi-subject dissemination strategy,and the strategy of using digital technology for dissemination in the information society can be adopted to enhance the dissemination effects of the contemporary Chinese diplomatic terms.
