On the basis of accurately defining the connotation and nature of intellectual property re-view,the article discusses factors restricting the development of intellectual property review,thus explore the implications for intellectual property service of university libraries.In order to break the bottleneck of development and implement the important strategic function of intellectual product re-view,university libraries should play their role in intellectual property review by establishing public service platform of intellectual property information,strengthening the operation ability of intellectu-al property,setting up professional intellectual property information service team and optimizing in-tellectual property review retrieval and analysis tools.
