Public libraries providing after-school services for minors is an innovative service in response to social needs.The article analyzes the practical needs and existing problems of af-ter-school services for minors in public libraries,with a focus on the practical situation of af-ter-school services for minors in public libraries in the United States,Japan,and China.Tar-geted strategies and suggestions are proposed to improve the after-school services for minors in public libraries.
