Storytime is the most extensive reading promotion activity carried out by public li-braries.In order to explore the book selection strategies of public library librarians in story-time,this paper takes experienced children's librarians as the research object,adopts the in-terview method and the qualitative research coding method,and combines professional litera-ture to study the principle of book selection for public library story-time and propose a strate-gy of book selection based on the plot,figure,illustration,language exchange and content ex-tension of the story,aiming at improving the overall professional level of the public library story-time.
