Practical Exploration of the Cooperation Between Public Libraries and Primary and Secondary Schools in Building a Scholarly Campus——Taking Dongguan Public Library System as an Example
On the basis of analyzing the practical cooperation between public libraries and primary and secondary schools at home and abroad in building a scholarly campus,this article takes the practice of Dongguan as an example to explore the cooperative practice of building a scholarly campus between public libraries and primary and secondary schools.Dongguan has mainly promoted the construction of a scholarly campus by creating a reading environment,sharing reading resources,carrying out reading promotion activities,cultivating reading volunteers,and jointly building reading courses.However,in practice,problems such as insufficient promotion,insufficient cooperation breadth,and insufficient professional level have also been exposed.To address these issues,this article proposes relevant strate-gies,including promoting the government led"quality improvement and efficiency enhancement"library school cooperation model to strengthen cooperation strength,integrating multiple social organizations to expand cooperation breadth,and using children's education and reading theory to guide activities and curriculum development to enhance the degree of cooperation professionalism,so as to enhance the ef-fectiveness of public libraries and primary and secondary school cooperation in building a scholarly cam-pus,and promote the deepening development of reading education.
