In order to comprehensively understand the current research status and development trends of library makerspace abroad,and to provide reference and enlightenment for the con-struction of library makerspace in China,this paper systematically reviews the relevant re-search literature on library makerspace abroad.This paper finds that foreign scholars have conducted extensive and in-depth research on the concept and significance of library mak-erspace,types of makerspace,management of makerspace,etc.These studies have certain reference value for Chinese libraries to improve the construction of makerspace types and suc-cessfully operate makerspace.
