"Rediscovering the Library,Reading Modern Chinese Civilization Together"——A Review of the 16th National Reading Forum of the Library Society of China
The National Reading Forum is the core of the national reading academic system of the Library Society of China,and has been held continuously for sixteen sessions since 2007.The 16th National Reading Forum was held in Ningbo,Zhejiang Province,focusing on the theme of"Rediscovering the Library,Reading Modern Chinese Civilization Together".Vari-ous academic activities with rich content were held.This forum discussed key issues such as the relationship between libraries and modern Chinese civilization,the construction of a na-tional reading promotion system,the professionalization of libraries with a focus on librari-ans,and the standards and evaluation of library reading promotion.The forum has received widespread attention and unanimous praise,playing a positive role in promoting the deepening and implementation of national reading work librarianship.
