This paper summarizes the research and practice progress of developmental biblio-therapy services in university libraries at home and abroad through literature research and case analysis.It analyzes the characteristics and existing problems of these services,and puts for-ward feasible suggestions for deepening developmental bibliotherapy and innovating reader services.The study proposes that university libraries should pay attention to the value of the normalized service of developmental bibliotherapy,expand the range of healing-oriented lit-erature and information resources,and combine self-service navigation with interactive read-ing promotion.This aims to to meet the mental health needs and emotional healing needs of readers and promote the development of services.
