The"reading healing space"in university library is a space based on reading activi-ties and supplemented by public facilities aimed at relieving stress and providing comfort.This study explores the logical feasibility and practical path of extending the concept of reading healing to the creation of therapeutic environments through the theoretical review of the con-notation of reading healing and the related cases of setting up"reading healing space"in uni-versity libraries.The creation of"reading healing space"and corresponding planning expand the scope of future reader services in university libraries,but also offer new perspectives and directions for the theoretical research in the field of"reading healing".
