Construction and Empirical Study of Evaluation Index System for Reading Promotion in University Libraries Based on the Theory of Comprehensive Evaluation
The design of evaluation indicators for reading promotion services in university li-braries is an evolving process that must adapt to the context of library development and align with overarching goals, enabling dynamic assessment.Using the'comprehensive evaluation theory'combined with literature review, expert interviews, surveys, and the analytic hierar-chy process(AHP),this study proposes a comprehensive evaluation framework for reading promotion in university libraries. The evaluation index system consists of three primary evalu-ation indicators:formal evaluation, content evaluation, and utility evaluation,as well as 23 secondary indicators.Empirical analysis of survey data from 7 university libraries indicates that the evaluation index system is highly applicable and suitable for broader adoption.
