The global trend of digital transformation in education is unstoppable.The educa-tional paradigm,learning scenarios and learning methods of future talents are constantly changing.As an essential academic institution for talent cultivation in higher education,uni-versity libraries should reposition themselves to support the high-quality transformation and development of universities in the context of educational digital transformation.This paper analyzes the background of digital transformation in education and the characteristics of future talents,clarifying the functional positioning of university libraries in future talent cultivation as"center for document and information resource construction and services","new-type grassroots learning center"and"center for the inheritance of excellent culture."Correspond-ingly,it proposes development paths aligned with the new era.
