With the development of intelligent technology,the construction of ancient books in public libraries should also be combined with the construction concept of smart libraries and the transformation of construction methods by technology,so as to improve the construction level and efficiency.This paper summarizes the exploration of the intelligent construction of ancient books in domestic public libraries in recent years,analyzes the current challenges en-countered in the intelligent construction of ancient books in public libraries,and discusses the specific strategies to improve the construction level from four aspects:top-level design,build strength,servicemethods and talentdevelopment.
