Research on Librarian Knowledge Generation and Transformation Path Based on Popper Cycle Model
Practical knowledge is an important support for the professional growth and develop-ment of librarians.Drawing on Popper's"Four-Stage Schema"cyclical theory to explore the issues of librarian knowledge generation and transformation is of great significance for enhan-cing librarians'knowledge service capabilities. This paper,by examining the dilemmas in the generation of practical knowledge among librarians, analyzes the underlying causes and, through a follow-up approach to knowledge generation, explains that the process of librarian knowledge generation goes through three stages:self-awareness balancing, integration of self and others'knowledge, and externalization of emotions and beliefs. The research finds that enhancing librarians'problem awareness can cultivate their ability to identify issues;encoura-ging librarians to bravely engage in trial and error and review their practical experiences can accelerate knowledge accumulation, enhance professional confidence, and eliminate occupa-tional burnout.By achieving knowledge transformation, librarians also realize self-growth.
