Mechanical Properties of Thermal Insulation Composite Shear Wall Connectors FRP
The study focuses on the mechanical performance of threaded, rectangular, and hexagram-shaped fiber-reinforced polymer(FRP)connectors in sandwich insulation composite shear walls under pull-out and shear conditions. The research analyzes the failure modes,pull-out capacity, and load-displacement curves of these three types of FRP connectors. The failure mode of the pull-out specimens is predominantly characterized by concrete cone failure, while the shear specimens exhibit failure modes including concrete anchorage failure, shear failure, and connector fracture.A comparison between theoretical calculations and experimental results indicates that the safety factors for all three connectors under both pull-out and shear conditions are greater than 1,demonstrating a significant safety margin, making them suitable for practical engineering applications.
