The esterase isozyme analysis of degenerate strains of Beauveria bassiana used to biocontrol Apriona germari
Beauveria bassiana was an important biocontrol strain .The study about the genetic mechanism of degeneration would contribute to the strain degradation control using biological engineering technology and the enhancement of biocontrol efficiency .In this study ,the vari-ation at the protein level of B .bassiana strains was alalyzed using esterase isozyme technolo-gy .The results showed that there are 2~7 isozyme belts ,and the main esterase isozyme belt also existes .Different subcultures show a same type of zymogram ,but its activity decreases obviously from generation to generation .Especially the activity change of a few main en-zymes is more apparent .The figure of clustering analysis shows that the generation ordering by passage .Compared with the 1st generation ,the genetic distance become longer from gen-eration to generation .In all ,more generation means more aberrance ,indicating that RAPD technology can reflect the strain degradation to some extent .beltwidth.
