Study on visitors' perception of the recreation impact on forest park area——A case of Longjiashan National Forest Park in Guizhou
In order to fully understand the visitors' perception of recreation impact on the forest park,a survey was conducted,supplemented by computer visual simulation to explore the visitors acceptable level of waste and trampling of vegetation.The results showed that most visitors became sensitive to facilities damage,lack of maintenance and taking a shortcut.There were seven significantly different types of recreation impact perception from visitors in peak season and usual season,including over-exploitation of the park,with four high-er perceived values in the peak season and three higher perceived values in the usual season.The visitors acceptable level of waste and trampling of vegetation in the peak season was significantly different from that in the usual season.Therefore,some suggestions on reducing recreation impact and the differences between peak season and usual season were put forward by carrying out various publicity and education on visitors and perfecting facility maintenance necessary to the site management.
