Application effect of Xintong Granules in percutaneous coronary intervention for coronary heart disease
Objective To investigate the application effect of Xintong Granules in percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)for coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods A total of 80 CHD patients diagnosed and treated in Nanyang First People's Hospital from June 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 40 pa-tients in each group.Both groups underwent PCI,and after surgery,patients in both groups were o-rally administered Metoprolol Sustained-Release Tablets.Patients in the observation group additionally received Xintong Granules.Clinical effects,improvement in cardiac function,serum inflammatory fac-tor levels,coronary artery status,and incidence of cardiac adverse events were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was superior to that of the control group(95.00％vs.77.50％,P＜0.05).Cardiac function indicators such as LVEF and SV were higher in the observation group than in the control group,while LVESD was lower.The levels of CIMT and Hcy were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group,and the level of APN was significantly higher.Inflammatory factors CRP,TNF-a,and IL-6 were significantly lower in the observation group compared to the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of cardiac adverse events was lower in the observation group(5.00％vs.25.00％),and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(P＜0.05).Conclusion For CHD patients treated with PCI,postoperative administration of Metoprolol Sustained-Release Tablets combined with Xintong Granules can improve cardiac function and coronary artery status,reduce inflammatory factor levels,and achieve better clinical efficacy com-pared to Metoprolol Sustained-Release Tablets alone.
