Impact of progressive functional training combined with VSD on patients with open limb trauma
Objective To investigate the impact of progressive functional training combined with vacuum sealing drainage(VSD)on patients with open limb trauma. Methods A total of 80 patients with open limb trauma who were admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were se-lected and randomly divided into a VSD group and a combined group, with 40 patients in each group. The VSD group received VSD intervention, while the combined group underwent progressive function-al training on the basis of VSD intervention. After one month of intervention, the time of limb func-tion recovery, length of hospital stay,Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS)Part Ⅱ andⅢ scores,Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores, complications, and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The time of limb function recovery and length of hospital stay in the combined group were shorter than those in the VSD group. The VAS scores,UPDRS Part Ⅱ and Ⅲscores in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the VSD group, with a lower inci-dence of complications and higher satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion Progressive functional training combined with VSD shows ideal effects in the intervention of patients with open limb trauma, which can significantly reduce the degree of pain, promote rapid recovery, and improve sleep quality.
