Whole genome prediction and analysis of effectors of Botrytis cinerea
In order to predict and screen the effectors of Botrytis cinerea in the whole genome,SignaIP 5.0,TMHMM,ProtComp 9.0 and other software and prediction programs were used to screen the published proteins with secretory function of the whole genome of Botrytis cinerea followed by analysis of the screened secreted proteins on the cysteine content, signal peptide length and redundancy, and final prediction with EffectorP 3.0 and expression differential analysis. There were 109 candidate effectors and 101 secreted proteins were screened out from B.cinerea.In order to explore the function of the selected candidate effectors, this study used SMART to predict the functional domains of the 109 candidate effector proteins and analyzed the transfected transcriptome data. The results showed that the candidate effectors all had signal peptides, and the candidate effector genes Bcin04g03920 and Bcin02g04350 with continuous high expression were selected to verify their secretory function. In this study, the effector proteins and secreted proteins were obtained from the whole genome screening of B.cinerea, which laid an important foundation for revealing the infection mechanism of B.cinerea.
