In order to solve the environmental pollution problem caused by the massive use of atrazine, this study successfully prepared a loaded cobalt-based catalyst composite Col.5-Cornstalk biochar and constructed an efficient degradation system of peroxymonosulfate by hydrothermal and calcination method.Information on the structural characteristics of the Co1.5-Cornstalk biochar catalysts was obtained by transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, and specific surface area and pore size characterization.Further investigation was carried out on the degradation performance of the Col.5-Cornstalk biochar/peroxymonosulfate system and the factors affecting the degradation of atrazine. The degradation rate of Co 1.5-Cornstalk biochar/peroxymonosulfate system for atrazine reached 97.96% in 30 min at the concentration of 0.010 g/L of Co1.5-Cornstalk biochar and 0.075 g/L of peroxymonosulfate. This study provided a new preparation strategy for the research and development of new efficient and green catalysts, and a scientific reference for the treatment of real wastewater.
