Physical Labor Education in Schools:Natural Advantages,Real Dilemmas and Should-Be Patterns
As an important part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics,labor education has a comprehensive educational value of cultivating morality,enhancing intelligence,strengthening physical fitness,and cultivating beauty.Embodied cognition advocates physical participation in promoting the cognitive generation,as it plays an important role in guiding students to form correct labor concepts,strengthening positive labor emotions,and developing good labor habits and qualities.However,in the current implementation of school labor education,there is still a detachment tendency in terms of educational goals,content,field,and methods.To promote the embodiment of labor education and return to its natural state,in terms of education goals,it's necessary to advocate for physical integration and promote students'comprehensive development;in terms of content,students shall strengthen their labor experience through personal involvement;in terms of field,it is advocated to return to reality and explore real labor situations;and in terms of methodology,the focus shall be put on body diagrams and learning by doing.
