新工科背景下基于虚拟现实技术的工程实践教学创新

新工科背景下,在以互联网等先进信息技术为核心的数字时代,探索虚拟现实技术与工程实践教学的深度融合,是推进工程教育改革的关键.为培养高质量工程实践人才,将虚拟现实技术与工程实践教学融合,不仅可以满足新工科建设需求,还可以激发学生自主学习和探索的积极性,降低实验设备的管理与维修费用,减少工程类实践教学中潜在的安全隐患.但在VR技术应用于工程实践教学的过程中发现,现有课程体系、教学方法与VR技术存在明显不适配问题,优质工程类VR教学平台欠缺,教师综合水平欠缺,阻碍了工程实践教学质量的提升.为此,学校需结合新工科建设需求,借助VR技术优化工程实践课程体系与教学方法,加强VR专业化教学平台建设,通过系统化培训提升工程实践教师综合素养,为新工科背景下工程实践教学高质量发展提供保障.
Innovation in Engineering Practice Teaching Based on Virtual Reality Technology under the Background of New Engineering
Under the background of new engineering and the digital era with the Internet and other advanced information technologies as the core,exploring the deep integration of virtual reality technology and engineering practice teaching is the key to promoting engineering education reform.To cultivate high-quality engineering practice talents,the integration of virtual reality technology and engineering practice teaching can not only meet the needs of new engineering development,but also stimulate students'enthusiasm for independent learning and exploration,cut the costs for experimental equipment management and maintenance,and reduce potential safety hazards in engineering practice teaching.However,in the application of VR technology to engineering practice teaching,obvious incompatibilities are noticed between the existing curriculum system,teaching methods,and VR technology.Insufficient high-quality engineering VR teaching platforms and teachers'inadequate comprehensive abilities hinder the quality improvement of engineering practice teaching.Therefore,considering the need for the construction of new engineering disciplines,universities need to optimize the engineering practice curriculum system and teaching methods with VR technology,strengthen the construction of VR professional teaching platforms,improve engineering practice teachers'comprehensive quality through systematic training,and provide guarantees for the high-quality development of engineering practice teaching in the context of new engineering disciplines.
