With the increasing importance of the concept of low carbon at home and abroad,carbon peaking as well as carbon neutralization have become a strategic direction for China's comprehensive green transformation,and the core issue and vision for China's construction of ecological civilization and high-quality development,promoting sustainable social and economic development.Slow-walking space in the lifestyle streets is the main carrier of daily activities for urban residents.However,most of the current responses to the low-carbon concept stay in the macro-level policy,the overall planning stage and the micro-level detailed construction stage,but lack the medium-level interpretation,that is,the application of low-carbon concept in the detailed planning scale.This paper starts from the current problems faced by the slow-walking space layout in lifestyle streets,and put forward the strategy to improve slow-walking space layout for lifestyle streets,which has great practical significance for reducing carbon emissions,upgrading the slow-walking space of lifestyle streets as well as residents'quality of life.It not only provides the theoretical guidance for the improvement of slow-walking space in other lifestyle streets,but also explores more possibilities for the construction and upgrading of Chinese lifestyle streets.
