On the design of RTO incineration technology for waste gas of pharmaceutical raw materials
To cope with waste gas treatment problem arising in the process of pharmaceutical raw material production, this study conducts a comprehensive study on the examination and optimization of Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer(RTO)system design. In terms of safety,it proposes a series of measures such as automated interconnected management, reinstallation of monitoring and control apparatuses, restriction on waste gas threshold value, and the establishment of safety design protocols to enhance waste gas processing safety and efficacy. In order to meet the emission standard, the control of the combustion temperate and the extension of fuel gas residence time can ensure effective treatment of waste gas.Besides, the integration of metal hard seal with soft or gas seals can enhance the airtightness of the system together with the application of optimized gas treatment strategies. In terms of reducing energy consumption, the adoption of high-efficient energy saving materials, renewable energy and waste heat recovery technology dramatically cut the system operation cost.In terms of resisting corrosion, using anti-corrosion materials and methods as well as improving internal insulation can solve this problem. As for ceramic heat storage blockage, the introduction of new anti-blocking layers and structures that are easy to be cleared will be an effective solution.Meanwhile, simplified threshold structure and remote monitoring technology bring greater convenience on the maintenance. In general, these technologies and improvement designs make RTO system more environmentally friendly, cost saving and stable, which has significance for the sustainable development of industrial production.
