On the application of STEAM concept to primary school science courses based on the new curriculum standards——Take"Homemade Spring Dynamometer"as an example
There are many challenges faced by the popularity of STEAM education in practice:STEAM education, most of which are independent project development courses focusing on activities, fails to fully integrated with daily teaching courses, lacks of targets on students and has smaller audiences due to teachers'reluctance to change traditional teaching methods and school's inadequate supports. Moreover,as students think contents about physics in primary school science courses are boring and trivial, they are prone to experiencing fear and losing their interests and creativity in learning. However, the implementation of the 2022 version of the Science Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education has provided impetus for optimizing classroom practice.Under this context, this paper explores the specific strategy of applying STEAM concept to primary school science physics classroom with the specific curriculum design"self-made spring dynamometer"in primary school science physics classroom as the example.
