Survey and analysis on the current situation of microbiology laboratory teaching——Taking Hubei Normal University as an example
In order to improve the teaching effect of microbiology experimental courses,this study took Hubei Normal University as an example to analyze the teaching status of microbiology experiment from five aspects:students'attitudes towards microbiology experiments,students'learning strategies and patterns,student learning effectiveness and problems,investigation of microbiology experimental teaching mode and student suggestions for teaching microbiology experimental teaching.The results showed that 40.82%of students expressed strong interests in microbiology experimental;52.65%of students thought that the classroom atmosphere was relatively active;67.76%of students thought they were lack of operational experience in the current microbiology experimental teaching;nearly 35%of students pointed out that the teaching system,teaching content,teaching mode,teaching method,and performance assessment of microbiology experimental needed to be optimized,indicating that students'demand and expectation for microbiology experimental teaching are constantly increasing.Through investigation,it put forward a series of reform suggestions including improving the pre-lab training system,establishing a diversified teaching mode,teaching content,and assessment methods,so as to provide a reference for improving the quality of microbiology experimental teaching and cultivating innovative talents.
