Analysis of the spatio-temporal variation and influencing factors of ecosystem service value in Shanxi Province
Exploring the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of the value of regional ecosystem services and their influencing factors is of great significance for understanding the ecological and environmental problems in the region and enhancing people's well-being.Taking 5 000 X 5 000 m grid analysis as a perspective, the value of ecosystem services in Shanxi Province is measured by the equivalent factor method to explore the evolution of its spatio-temporal pattern, and geo-detectors are applied to identify the main influencing factors. The results show that:① The value of ecosystem services in Shanxi Province from 2000 to 2020 showed an initial increase followed by a decrease, with regulatory services contributing the most to the value of ecosystem services in Shanxi Province.② From 2000 to 2020,the spatial distribution pattern of the value of ecosystem services in Shanxi Province basically remained stable, with the low value of ecosystem services mainly distributed in the pearl-shaped basin floor area in central Shanxi Province and the low-lying terrain in southwestern Shanxi Province, and the high-value area mainly distributed in the higher terrain mountain areas such as the Taiyue Mountains, the Luliang Mountains and the Taihang Mountains.③ From the spatial analysis of hot and cold spots, the insignificant area of ecosystem service value in Shanxi Province from 2000 to 2020 accounted for a relatively large area, and the cold spot area. The sub-cold spot area were mainly distributed in the central, southwestern and part of northeastern Shanxi Province, and the ecological value of the high value area represented by hot spots and sub-hot spots were mainly clustered in the central-western,east-central and south-central parts of Shanxi Province.④ The results of geographic exploration show that socio-economic factors play the strongest role in explaining the value of ecosystem services in Shanxi Province, followed by natural factors.
