Research on gain compensation method for VICTS antenna
The VICTS antenna has significant advantages such as low profile,high gain,and wide beam,making it have great application potential in the field of mobile communication.The structural characteristics and beam scanning forms of the VICTS antenna are first expounded in this paper,the angle transformation relations of each layer of the disk are deduced.Then,combined with the measured gain variation curve of the antenna,a gain compensation method based on piecewise polynomial fitting is designed.The gain variation after compensation by this method is about 0.15 dB.Finally,a three-axis rocking test is carried out.During the rocking process,the field strength signal is stable,and the maximum fluctuation is about 0.25 dB,which meets the dynamic usage requirements of the VICTS antenna.
