The competition among countries in today's world is manifested in the competition of the global value chain. However, the development of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation in China is uncoordinated, and these two innovations lack effective connection, which hinders China's industries from moving towards the middle and high end of the global value chain. In this paper, from the perspective of input and output,an evaluation index system is established for coordinated development of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation. And empirical analysis is conducted on the level of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, the degree of coordinated development and the influencing factors in China using methods such as entropy weighting, spatial autocorrelation, coordination model and econometric analysis. The results show that the overall level of scientific and technological innovation, industrial innovation and coordinated development is not high, with large regional gap.The level of industrial innovation seriously lags behind that of scientific and technological innovation, and most of the higher-level regions are concentrated in the central and eastern coastal areas. The spatial differentiation characteristics are obvious. The level of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation and the degree of coordinated development form high-high and low-low spatial agglomeration types, showing a spatial distribution pattern of'east high and west low'.The five variables of the level of economic development, the degree of opening to the outside world, the innovation ability of high-tech industries, innovation investment and the ability to transform science and technology significantly play a positive role in promoting the level of coordinated development.
