Abstract
The key techniques in the major overhaul of the 1#hydro-turbine generator unit in Shazhui Hydropower Sta-tion are introduced in detail,including the unit dismantling,repair of the foundation ring,replacement of the runner,inspection of the clearance between the runner and the lower sealing ring,inspection of the connection between the run-ner and the main shaft,replacement and pre-installation of the water guide mechanism,and adjustment of the unit thrust center,turning gear and thrust bearing.Each maintenance operation should meet the technical requirements of the corre-sponding specifications and regulations.Also,the causes of the thread locking problem during the installation process of the runner bolts are analyzed and some prevention measures are given.It could be useful reference for the maintenance of same type units.
