An Evaluation Method for the Renovation of Hydro-turbine Generators based on Data Statistics
Based on the operation data of a hydro-turbine generator,a systematic comparative analysis and evaluation of its operation temperature,vibration and air clearance before and after its renovation is carried out using the statistical method.The results show that the overall characteristic parameters of the generator after the renovation are significantly optimized,while some individual values are worse.Both of the temperature and swinging of the upper guide bearing pads after the renovation are higher than before,which requires special attention in the later operation,and inspection and necessary treatment of the bearing pads and clearance in the subsequent maintenance.In addition,some inadequate is-sues of the renovation are determined,which provides useful data support for the subsequent operation and maintenance of the generator and also useful reference for the renovation of other units.
