Grounding Impedance Measurement Practice in a Pumped Storage Power Station based on Different Frequency Current Method
As an important technical indicator for the grounding system in power plants,the grounding resistance value is of great significance for the safety evaluation of the grounding grid.Due to the special terrain conditions and the com-plex soil structures,calculation and measurement of the grounding grid impedance of pumped storage power stations are more difficult than ordinary grounding grids.With the analysis of the advantages of the different frequency current method in practical measurement,and the grounding impedance measurement practice in Changlongshan Pumped Storage Power Station,several suggestions for the design and tests of the grounding grid are proposed.It can be useful reference for the research and measurement of the grounding grid impedance in pumped storage power stations.
